Hello all! I just heard about this Entrepreneurs group. I’m glad it’s here! I’ve spent most of my career in start-ups, or start-up-like groups within larger companies. I’ve also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at a start-up incubator. I aslo founded a start-up with a colleague a few years ago with the idea of giving consumer tools to…Read More

The first think I think of for “Environmental Working Group” for Asgardia is “space junk”: the millions man-made of inert objects that pollute space after 60 years of launching rockets and satellites into Earth Orbit. Each rocket has explosive bolts to separate first state from second state, and second stage from third stage. Separating a…Read More

It seems that the 20th century was the century of pollution. The lack of care is impressive.

Hello all, I must admit that I was surprised today to see all the user groups on Asgardia.Space for each earth-bound nation. Maybe because the mayorships are so broken on Asgardia.space. Maybe this is the easiest way for us to meet our local national brethren, rather than relying on mayors in sparsely populated areas to coordinate events. My…Read More

Your comment is spot on. That is why we made the groups. We would like to help Asgardians connect with each other and keep in touch and socialize. So recommend a friend (Asgardian or not 🙂

Thanks for the explanation, Dennis. But now I’m wondering why we have groups defined by national borders, rather than sociological borders. Where’s Kashmir, for example, or a group for Maori? Additionally, the US is a very large place with very large differences between some of it’s citizens (c.f. the November 3 election). Should we have…

The national borders were decided on because of geographical location with the idea that the people in those areas could come together here on Asgardia Social and organize themselves and choose a Mayor or an Organizer. Once the number of users gets to the point where there needs to be more mayors or organizers then it can be done. But at…

I must admit I am surprised to see “groups” on the Asgardia Social website that relate to earth-bound countries. Maybe because they Mayship program is so broken on the Asgardia website, this will give us a chance to meet our local Asgardia brethern and possibly organize events (although the United States is a very large country. So with that,…Read More

“Hello, world!” The canonical first computer program taught to a student of a new computer language, first used in the 1978 book “The C Programming Language” by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie. I know use it as my first post on any new social media platform. Hello world! Or in the C Programming Language:
