I think it’s up to the person to decide. So I wouldn’t approve of parents making the decision for their children, even if it were done for living in space. I can’t image what modifications would be needed but each person should decide for themselves. -

Also, intersexed conditions would make six sexes idea untenable. AIS, for one example, causes someone with XY chromosomes to mature as a female without a womb.-

So are you implying that transhumanism excludes transgenders? Technology is required in both cases. Implants for example. On the other hand, conditions that alter embryological development still don’t affect chromosomal genotype. Transgenders may in fact be a first phase in transhumanism, after all.-

My post was not specific to transsexuals. You zeroed in on that. Also, transhumanism is already reality. Im a member of the transhumanist community and I can tell you many of us have tech implants which function.-

Sorry if my focus became too narrow. You really should write a story about the future of Transhumanism for PlanetsRising. Where you see it going, and at what point does a human become a cyborg, and vice versa. That is truly an important topic in ethics.

I am watching! I rewatched a little of Season 4 before going on to Season 5. It’s a great show and I think it highlights some of the problems Asgardia will face in the future if we are not careful.My favorite character is Amos. Who is yours?

I have a mad character crush on Amos. He is such a tortured soul, he has been thru a lot, but watching him grow, find a family and become a better person is stunning. His transformation is a full length story of its own.-
